The E-Voting-Competition 2008 presents: The three finalists!
The finalists have been selected and will all take part in the final in Bregenz according to our competition requirements. We got submissions from teams throughout Europe and our jury has decided on three which will be invited.
We also want to thank all submitters for their motivation and encourage them to stay tuned for infos on a possible sequel of our competition in the next year.
The final will be held as follows:
- Every team has 45 minutes to present the system to the others and to the jury using Powerpoint slides.
- Each team shall analyse the slides in order to pose questions and to detect weaknesses in the other systems.
- Then a practical demonstration is to be given where each team has to set up an election, demonstrate how voters will vote and how the results will be counted. Teams will 30 minutes for that.
- Finally there will be a 30 minute Question & Answer Session per team where critical questions can be posed by the other teams and the jury members.
We congratulate all three teams for this "step into the ring":
